Welcome to the home page of The Buoyancy Aid Manufacturers and Retailers Association. We are a newly formed association of designers, manufacturers, distributors and resellers of buoyancy aids.

Formed to act in response to the deluge of unsafe, uncompliant and illegal PPE buoyancy aids entering the UK and EU market  place, BAMRA has tasked itself with:

• Campaigning to ensure only safe, compliant and legal PPE buoyancy aids are available on the UK and EU market places.

• Working with and assisting Government, government authorised notified bodies and Trading Standard organisations to ensure that unsafe, uncompliant and illegal are removed from sale and rogues sellers, distributors and manufacturers are sanctioned when found to be distributing and selling unsafe and illegal goods.

• Providing a safe space for legitimate designers, manufacturers, distributors and resellers of buoyancy aids to discuss matters concerning PPE buoyancy aids, their regulation and their efforts to comply with national and international standards.
